The Search and Recovery Specialty course teaches you how to efficiently locate and recover lost objects underwater using professional diving techniques. It’s a challenging and rewarding course that builds problem-solving skills, teamwork, and precision.
Following PADI standards, you’ll learn different search patterns and how to choose the right method depending on conditions such as visibility, depth, and bottom type.
You’ll learn how to:
Plan and organize underwater search operations
Use search patterns (circular, U-pattern, grid search)
Locate and recover objects using lift bags
Work effectively with a buddy as a team
Training is conducted through realistic scenarios, where you’ll practice finding and safely recovering objects under the guidance of our professional instructors.
This course improves your navigation, buoyancy, and control, while adding a practical and technical edge to your diving skills.
All our trips include food, refreshments, hot drinks (coffee & tea), and cold drinking water, so you can stay comfortable throughout your training.
By the end of the course, you’ll have the confidence and ability to perform underwater searches and recover items safely and efficiently.
